Max plot

The 6-year-old girl Max lives with her father Tony, a petty criminal with a big heart. At Christmas, Max introduces her father to Rose, a prostitute she met on the street and who is kind to her. Despite the rather complex situation, Tony decides not to just reject this 'gift' and lets Rose move in with them for a while.
