Mascarades plot

Mounir Mekbel lives with his family in a village in the heart of the Algerian Aures Mountains. The rather arrogant Mounir has only one dream: he desperately wants to be appreciated by his fellow villagers. His Achilles heel is his sister Rym. She seems to fall asleep everywhere and the whole village is convinced that she will eventually become a spinster. One evening, Mounir returns to the village with big news. He has found a rich man who wants to marry Rym. And so the preparations for the wedding ceremony begin... but without an actual groom.
