Man Braucht Kein Geld plot
The Brandt family lost their fortune in oil speculation and now they have a huge debt to the local bank. The latter is therefore threatened with bankruptcy for lack of money. The only hope is Brandt's uncle, Thomas Hoffman, an American millionaire just visiting. The bank's accountant uses his own money to give him a warm welcome, introducing himself as Brandt's future son-in-law. But now it turns out that Hoffman isn't a millionaire at all and that even the city of Chicago owes him $100 for medical treatment. But with his own efforts, he starts a grand plan to bring the bank back to prosperity. Surprisingly, it still works, but some issues arise.
