In the first two parts 'Lotta & die Alten Eisen' and 'Lotta & die Grossen Erwartungen', Lotta (Josefine Preuß) had to work in a retirement home to survive financially. It was a great success, and she even got the good diploma. In this third part, Lotta wants to study medicine and stand on her own two feet. As a single mother of a daughter, it's not that easy.
