Lise ou L'Affabulatrice plot

Vienna, 1938. Lise (Florence Darel) is eighteen years old and has Jewish grandparents. Shortly before the Anschluss she goes to Paris, where she finds work as a saleswoman in a clothing store. To protect herself against attempts by men from her environment, she invents a fictitious lover: an Air Force captain. What begins as a white lie soon has a profound impact on her life.
