Life of the Party plot

"Rock bottom is just around the corner."

Thirty-year-old Michael Elgin (Eion Baiyle) is addicted to cocktails. His wife (Ellen Pompeo) is ready to leave him and his career hangs by a thread. When he collides with the car and resurfaces unharmed, his friends decide to take the drastic measure of calling a psychiatrist. They lure Michael to a party while waiting for the psychiatrist, but the latter never shows up.
