Les Gens Honnêtes Vivent en France plot
Rudolphe, a master of law and humble employee of a municipal library, leads a simple life. Guided by his love for South American authors and his secret love for his colleague Agnès. But this one is only attracted to wild loves and throws herself again and again into the arms of men who humiliate her. By sheer coincidence, Rudolphe's path crosses with that of Aurore Langlois, an overly ambitious PR agent without scruples. Her current client is Françoic Guenbois, a 45-year-old mayor who wants to become a minister at all costs. Since reputation is everything, Aurore makes every effort to perfect that of the politician… and deploys Rudolphe to succeed.
