Le Roi des Bricoleurs plot

Goumic, a baby goods dealer, his wife Anne and her brother-in-law, Malju, have inherited a large dilapidated house surrounded by a park. This is located in a spa town somewhere in the north of France. They decide to have the house repaired and then sell it to a minister, who would like to use it as a second residence. Goumic and Malju entrust the work to the company Bordin. Unfortunately for them, Bordin - who is the mayor of the city - is also interested in their property, because he would like to turn it into a theater surrounded by greenery. This should enable the municipal authorities to make significant gains.
