Layla plot
Two seemingly different people meet in the bustling city of London during Pride month: drag performer Layla, who lives in a colorful queer artist community, and Max, a young marketing expert of conservative British descent. Their first meeting at a corporate event celebrating queer friendliness as a PR exercise leads to a surprising attraction. Despite their differences—Layla, non-binary and of Palestinian descent, and Max, gay and surrounded by yuppie friends—they begin a passionate relationship. But Layla’s attempts to fit into Max’s normative world lead to conflicts with her own identity.
