Maruska is a blind student at the conservatory who dreams of family and love. In her dreams she sees a boy with blond curls and blue eyes, but she falls for the dark Marek. Maruska lives with her protective grandfather, who is busy with his long-lost love Libuse. Maruska's best friend is Honza, who struggles with his mother, who can't get over the fact that her son is gay and blames everyone - even her husband - for it. However, the fate of all these people is intertwined.
