La Isla Está Encantada con Ustedes plot

In 1511, the indigenous people of Puerto Rico murdered a representative of the colonial power. Some 300 years later, another chapter of colonial history follows: In 1803, a physician named Francisco Javiér de Balmis traveled to Puerto Rico on behalf of the Spanish crown with a number of orphans. They were carriers of the live vaccine with which Balmis performed one of the first mass immunizations against smallpox. Two hundred years later, in 2014, Puerto Rico produced a huge amount of pharmaceutical products with subsidies from the US.
