La Divine Poursuite plot

In Bamako's museum, a gang of thieves steal an expensive statuette. They make copies of it and ship it all to Lyon, where their accomplices must sell the counterfeit to the members of a squash club and also exchange the original for a hefty sum of money. But when packing, the figurines are accidentally switched and afterwards it is not possible for anyone to say who has received the original. Alex, who arranged the delivery, realizes the consequences. He is accused by the members of the gang and tells about it to his family, his sister, his brother-in-law and his sisters-in-law. In this way he unwittingly unleashes a quest for the treasure, because apparently many people are interested in that figurine.
