L'Aventure Est au Coin de la Rue plot

Pierre Trévoux, who is very pleased with himself, tells with bravado that he has successfully repulsed nocturnal robbers. His friends think he is a big brag and decide to teach him a lesson in modesty by pretending to break into his house and kidnapping his girlfriend Arlette as a serious joke. Pierre, who recognizes the handbag of the singer Adria-Adria, cannot be fooled, but when real gangsters really kidnap Arlette, Pierre stands his ground.
