An unfortunate incident involving a drunk dentist causes Reverend Meiring to be kicked out of the church. What do you do when you're laid off, and also a white Afrikaner? You take whatever is offered to you. In this case, president of a men's club where they play dice and drink and where strippers perform. According to Kareltjie, a paradise for the preacher, because where can you find more souls that need to be saved than in such a place? Kareltjie makes a toga for the pastor with an Old Testament theme so that the congregation will not recognize him.
