Il Vedovo plot
Mr Nardi, who has expensive tastes but not very good business sense, constantly asks his rich wife Elvira large sums of money. She gets tired of his grilling and refuses to help him. Mr. Nardi is going crazy over his creditors. One day he hears the exciting news that a train his wife has taken has plunged into the lake. But... she comes home a few hours later by car. Mr Nardi sees only one way out of all his financial woes and that is to kill his wife. However, he himself falls victim to one of his preconceived traps...
