Il Provinciale plot

Giovanni Di Giacomo, 22, travels from southern Italy to Rome to become a journalist. Everything turns out to be different from what the naive boy from the province had envisioned: his 'influential' uncle turns out to be a butler, nobody in the press is waiting for him and Giovanni has to make a living as a car mechanic.
