Ikiteru Uchi ga Hana Nanoyo Shindara Soremade yo Tosengen plot

The film is set around a nuclear power plant in a small village called Mihama in Fukui Prefecture - part of a whole series of nuclear power plants in that area. Barbara (Mitsuko Baishô) is an itinerant nude dancer who fled Okinawa 15 years ago because of the "Koza Riot". Her lover, Isamu Miyazato (Yoshio Harada) has worked all his life as a "Nuclear Gypsy" - a day laborer who, moving from one nuclear power plant to another in the country, performs periodic safety checks and other dirty jobs. Tired of his job, Miyazato decides to join the yakuza.
