Husaren in Berlin plot

In 1757, the second year of the Seven Years' War, the innkeeper Augustin found a good match for his daughter Andrea: a wealthy merchant from Berlin, whom the beautiful and idiosyncratic girl does not want to marry. On their way to him, they are attacked by Hungarian Hussars led by Marshal Hadik and captured. Andrea falls in love with the rambunctious trumpeter Pali and he loves the girl too. The Hussars go to Berlin and occupy the poorly secured city.
