Hroch plot

The bank clerk Bedrich Hroch is sent to the zoo by its director, because the latter has asked for a hippopotamus tooth for the donation of one and a half kilos of gold. During the inspection of the hippo's mouth, Bedrich is swallowed by the beast, but miraculously survives in the animal and communicates with his wife Dása. His friend and journalist Pip Karen has the idea that a talking hippo could be used for political propaganda.
