Hold the Fort plot

Lucas and Jenny are just settling into their new home when they are invited to an annual party in the neighborhood. Jenny is reluctant, but Lucas, ready to embrace suburban life, enthusiastically accepts. At the party, there is talk of a gate to hell, dangerous mythical creatures, large amounts of moonlight, and a legendary hero with a gun, McScruffy. Lucas thinks this is all a joke, but then the inevitable happens: the gate to hell opens and the first monsters attack.
