I thought it was a strange musical, the story was mainly vague and without inspiration, many plot twists seem forced and at times there seems to be no logic in the story at all, as an example there is 1 of the 3 sailors, he has a slightly higher rank and in San Francisco a woman is waiting for him, or is she not because she treats him almost like dirt when he sees her again after months of absence and she wants to get rid of him, or is she?
The songs aren't exactly inspiring either, and if you skip them, the film goes by pretty quickly. No, I wasn't very enthusiastic about this, despite the nice set decors and costumes.
