"Impossible dreams require impossible plans."

Tom Murphy and his friends try to make it in Hollywood. All their hopes are in the hands of Tom's famous girlfriend. When this Tom then dumps, they have to come up with a new plan. They decide to break into the FBI to steal marijuana and then sell it back to the FBI.
