Young Heintje never knew his mother and has lived alone with his father since childhood. One day his father is wrongly accused of a crime and Heintje has to live with his grumpy, but very wealthy grandfather. Unfortunately, Grandpa doesn't like the boy that much and leaves him largely to his own devices.
