Gus plot
Lizzie longs to start a family with her husband Peter but is unable to conceive. Her best friend Andie, who is single and unhinged, becomes pregnant after a one-night stand and offers to give the baby to Lizzie. Reluctantly, Peter agrees and before he knows it Andie moves into the spare bedroom for the duration of the pregnancy. When Peter also invites his irresponsible brother, chaos quickly ensues, testing friendships, family ties and a marriage.
