"Nadja, a single girl longing to become a mother"
Nadja is single, in her forties and would like to adopt a foreign child. After a change in the law, she is told that she will lose her place in the queue unless she gets married. Her sister who lives in the North does have a candidate in mind, so Nadja travels to the North to help her and arrange a paper marriage. But in the North, nothing goes according to plan and Nadja soon finds herself in a world where she doesn't feel very comfortable.
