"George Simmons was prepared to die, but then a funny thing happened."
Funny People is about comedian George Simmons (Adam Sandler). He is successful, women love him and men want to be like him. Downside is the fact that Simmons is a self-righteous, arrogant bastard who doesn't care about anyone. This seems to be about to change when he finds out he doesn't have much longer to live.

Gosh what a great movie the length didn't even bother me. The acting was good and Seth Rogan in particular was good and I'd like to see Adam Sandler more often. It's more of a drama than a comedy and that's what makes it so good.
Only downside the constant dick jokes that you get really fed up at the moment!
