The legal profession shakes to its foundations when young lawyer Robin Weathers takes up his first case. He does not shy away from any tactics to exonerate his customers and therefore attracts the attention of the media. Darren, Nancy and Alan of the prestigious Boston law firm where Robin began his career struggle with their new colleague, who is supported through thick and thin by his girlfriend Jo Ann. Ultimately, Robin is also confronted with the time-honored lawyer's dilemma: Should he defend a client who lies to him?
