Fools for Luck plot
Con man Richard Whitehead tries to persuade Samuel Hunter to invest in an oil field. Only later do the two discover that the oil field in question has run dry years ago. This fact also affects the love between Louise, Hunter's daughter and Ray Caldwell, Whitehead's business partner.
