Architect Jirí Donát is a single middle-aged man with a huge beard that obscures his entire face. He considers himself mediocre professionally and relationship disastrous. The pretty, superficial store clerk Eva wants to be famous and her lover Donát will do everything she can to make that possible. To get her a job as a model, Doná tries to seduce his mistress.
