Feuerwerk plot

Circus Obolski arrives around 1900 in a small German village, where the birthday of Oberholzer, a manufacturer of garden gnomes, is being prepared. Circus director Obolski is the brother of the manufacturer, who left twenty years earlier, and he now wants to congratulate him. The circus is not really a success, because the audience remains distant. Only Oberholzer's daughter, Anna, loves the circus and decides to run away.
