Feel the Beat plot

"Take your chance. Make your move."

A selfish dancer, April, ruins a Broadway audition and returns home against her will. She does her best to avoid everyone in her close-knit community, including her first love Nick. Then she's asked by her former dance teacher to coach a team of young misfits for a big dance competition.
