Fear, Anxiety & Depression plot
Ira Ellis (Todd Solondz) is a real loser, who also attracts trouble. His artistic work is slammed by critics, his friends gossip about him behind his back, and his parents think he's a loser. Then Sharon comes into his life. She falls in love with him, but he, stupid as he is, prefers artist Junk. However, Junk dumps him before he has her phone number, and Ira seduces Janice, who was recently abandoned by Jack, Ira's best friend. The relationship between Ira and Janice lasts about a week, until Jack reappears. Again Ira is without a girlfriend. But Sharon reappears in his life. Will she get a chance to forgive him? Can two hopelessly neurotic people find ultimate happiness?
