Esa Pareja Feliz plot
Carmen and Juan live in a sublet flat in the slums of Madrid. Guan works at a movie studio as an electrician and Carmen works at home as a seamstress. They are happy, although their dream of improving their living conditions and having their own home has still not come true. One day, Carmen wins a prize and they become the 'Happy Couple'. For one day they can experience a luxurious life, with gifts from expensive shops, with theater visits, with dinner in an elegant restaurant and with a visit to a nightclub.
