Es Flüstert die Liebe plot

The young Hungarian squire Peter (Gustav Fröhlich) flees his mother (Hedwig Bleibtreu) and the dull country life. He travels to Venice with his best friend Robert (Tibor Halmay). There he meets Marion, an unapproachable lawyer (Elma Bulla). All his overtures fail until he changes his tactics and pretends to be a timid intellectual. Marion thaws and travels after her admirer to Hungary, where she discovers the truth.
