En Flicka på Halsen plot

Johan works as an assistant chemist in a laboratory where his boss never calls him by the same name twice. He's overworked. One day he has to babysit Pia, his neighbor. Her single father never shows up again and turns out to have been kidnapped by a gangster duo to whom he owes. Johan comes to the conclusion that he has underestimated that assignment, because Pia is not easy to deal with. When he himself falls in love with Marie-Louise, another neighbor, things only get more complicated.
