While preparing for an old friend's surprise birthday party, Dalí organizes a "happening" set to music by Rimsky-Korsakov. Salvador Dalí receives a visit from a journalist who comes to interview him about a mysterious and intriguing fact from his life: the sudden reappearance of a treatise the painter had written over twenty years earlier, lost during his flight when the Nazis invaded France.
