Christine is in a relationship with Dick, but to help her friend Ellen, she tries to hook up with Ellen's wealthy boss Douglas. Ellen wants to protect her boss from women who are only after his money, so Christine pretends to be after Douglas' money so that he will understand that Ellen's intentions are honorable and how much she means to him. Meanwhile, Dick doesn't understand anything anymore.
