Dr. Plonk plot
"a film about the end of the world"
It's 1907 and Dr. Plonk, renowned scientist and inventor, calculates that the world will end in exactly 101 years unless immediate action is taken. As with many visionaries before him, Plonk is ridiculed, from journalists to politicians to his own assistant Paulus. However, Plonk will not let himself be put aside and develops a time machine to travel into the future and get the necessary evidence. In 2007, however, Plonk is already misunderstood and he soon gets into a fight with the authorities.
