Down among the Z Men plot
Professor Osrick Purehart (Michael Bentine) is quite absent-minded. He accidentally loses a secret formula, which is found by Harry Jones (Harry Secombe). While Harry tries to bring the formula back, he is mistakenly enlisted in the "Z" reservists. Meanwhile, an international criminal gang tries to get their hands on the secret data. When they find out that Harry knows more about it, they also have some of their people sign up with the "Z" reservists. That way they hope to keep an eye on Harry and get hold of the formula.
