Double Trouble plot
"A Double-play On The Nation's Funny-bone!"
The owner of an American bean cannery and his wife are expecting the arrival of two orphans from war-torn England. When the 'young people' arrive, they turn out to be two confused adults named Albert and Alfred Prattle. The owner makes a mistake by putting them to work in his cannery, where, among other things, they manage to put a $100,000 gemstone in a can of beans. The news spreads quickly, after which customers buy everything in the hope of getting the tin with the gemstone. The necessary complications arise.
