Dixiana plot
"Radio's miracle dramatic spectacle"
One day, Carl (Marshall) and his fiancée Dixiana (Daniels), a singer, along with her friends Ginger and Peewee (Wheeler) arrive at his father's plantation. When Carl's mother discovers that Dixiana works in a circus tent, she tells Dixiana to leave. Carl plans to leave with her, but she goes alone anyway. The circus they worked for doesn't want Dixiana, Ginger and Peewee back, but a casino owner hires them. During the Mardi Gras beauty pageant, the casino owner insists on voting for Dixiana as queen.
