Die Kleine Stadt Will Schlafen Gehen plot

Tax fraud, a mistress, a spicy photo collection... The notables of the small town have their secrets. They've written confidential letters about it, and when a bag of mail is stolen, they hit all states. Sculptor Peter Bruck (Gustav Fröhlich), who is under fire for a studio built without a permit, sees his chance to prank the notables. He pretends to have the letters. The dignitaries use every means to get their mail back.
