Die Känguru-Chroniken plot
Marc-Uwe Kling has stopped studying philosophy and tries, in vain, to break through as an artist in Berlin. One afternoon, while he is still asleep, a kangaroo suddenly appears at the door and needs eggs for his cake. The kangaroo moves in with Marc-Uwe Kling unsolicited. A large real estate company wants to redevelop a large part of the neighborhood and together with other residents they are fighting to stop this.
