Die Jungfrauen von Bumshausen plot
In a small mountain town, the close-knit population has a surprisingly high fertility rate. The men attribute their miraculous offspring to a mystical wind that blows once a year and sends them into the wilderness. In reality, their absence paves the way for local blacksmith Michael, who spends a lot of time with the willing women around him. The mayor wants to make the town attractive for childless holiday guests with the unusual children's blessing. While a civil servant decides to investigate the legend, Michael falls in love with the mayor's daughter.
