Like every year, the reliable cowherd Krischam, who is revered by the village youth, returns to Kummerow right on time for Easter and is warmly received by the children. This is for a traditional event where the referee Krischan should not be missing, namely the 'Heide-baptism'. Every year the children of Kummerow stay in the icy waters of the river Mühlbach until the last remaining person becomes the 'king'.
