Det Moderna Projektet plot

Two psychology students, Sara and Simon, think they have discovered the reason for loneliness in modern western society. They conclude that our need for self-fulfillment through consumption leaves us with a sense of meaninglessness. An experiment is started and they gather a group of young people in a remote house in the countryside. While staying in the house, Simon gradually becomes a sovereign leader. What started as a field study is slowly turning into something more akin to a cult.
