Der Hurenstreik - Eine Liebe auf St. Pauli plot

Young student Nikolaus (Niels-Bruno Schmidt) lives in the red light district of Hamburg where he falls in love with Sandy (Sandra Speichert), a good student who leads a wild double life. The two have a romantic night together, but a relationship doesn't seem to be in it. Nikolaus therefore decides to chalk his declaration of love to Sandra in large letters on a museum ship. The authorities are not happy with that and throw the boy in love in jail. Prostitute Elisa (Barbara Auer), the godmother of all Hamburg hookers, calls a whores strike to get the boy free.
