Der Buchspazierer plot
Bookseller Carl Kollhoff wraps books in paper every day to bring them home to his loyal customers. For the introverted man, customers are his main connection to the outside world and are almost like friends. His daily shopping is therefore an important routine for him. One day, a little girl follows in his footsteps and accompanies him on his deliveries. Carl is initially not enthusiastic at all, but becomes more and more interested in talking to the girl. She starts to accompany him regularly and the shy man starts to open up. Together they embark on an unexpected journey.
