When it comes to crime, the city of Belgrade is basically like any other city, except for the fact that there isn't a serial killer around. That is now about to change: a fat, shy flower seller, fixated on his mother, begins one day to strangulate women under the motto: "Those who don't like carnations don't deserve to live!" His victims are young women who don't want to buy his flowers and publicly embarrass him. A popular, wacky rock star soon develops a telepathic connection to the killer, and a detective is busy tracking down the killer.
