Das Trio plot

Three old former petty thieves take a bet. 78-year-old Max Büsing claims he will marry a young woman within three months. If he succeeds in this, both others must cross the bridge with ten thousand marks. While Max is womanizing, ex-pickpocket Philipp and ex-burglar Otto try to get the money. However, they happen to be recognized by a retired commissioner who shadows them, although he is quite nearsighted.
